Bridging Course for
Nurses
It’s a
program which is specialized for Nurses and midwives, this program is conducted
by the NMBA(Nursing and Midwifery Board
of Australia). This course is important for all the nursing candidates and professionals
who don’t come under 53(b) section eligibility criteria of the National Law.
After checking your eligibility criteria, please note it’s the NMBA who’ll
allocate or assign you the specific program. Candidates can bypass the bridging
course but they have to enroll into any other nursing profession course which
should be first accredited from legitimate Australian institution.
It is
mandatory for all the nursing professionals that they have to purse for
bridging course if their intension is to reside and work there.
However, the
recent rules of bridging course has been changed. GNM and B.Sc. students can
give the OET but when it’s time for
bridging course rules are different; only B.Sc. students are eligible for
bridging course and GNM students must enroll into any other nursing program
from any institution rather than bridging program. Rest immigration rules
remain the same for both them.
